Exhibit 6a.3. Career day schedule for kindergarten classes. The entire school participated in career day. I assisted in welcoming guests and escorting them to assigned areas. I have learned the importance of creating partnerships with businesses and community.

Parent and Community Involvement and Outreach: The school executive designs structures and processes which result in parent and community engagement, support and ownership for the school.Exhibit 6a.2. A letter sent from Vance Co. Schools to community leaders. Pinkston Street was one of the schools chosen to receive a visit from about twenty five community leaders. I worked with the assistant principal to choose Pinkston St.'s first school ambassadors (see middle picture in second row), they took community leaders on a tour of the school.

6b. Federal, State and District Mandates: The school executive designs protocols and processes in order to comply with federal, state, and district mandates.
Exhibit 6 b.2 Below is the fire drill form that must be completed after each mandatory monthly fire drill. I assisted administration in monthly fire drills.

Exhibit 6 b.1 School Title 1 Plan. I attended a Title 1 plan meeting during my residency. It is much like a School Improvement Plan, with the exception of funding. Title 1 Plan is a federally funded program, whereas the School Improvement Plan is state.
